Hello everyone,


The topic that I have chosen to use for my research essay in this course is the effects of prohibited substances in professional sports.  Some substances that I will be focusing on are testosterone, ephedrine, and human growth hormone.  This research will be discovering the "positive vs negative" factors of these substances for the individual choosing to use them as aid to become more advanced in their careers.  I will also research on whether or not the proper precautions of drug testing are used to positively test those who are using drugs compared to the individuals who are not.  As we all know, professional sports cover a very large portion of the business industry when it comes to entertainment.  Therefore my reason for choosing this topic to study, is because I play sports and have great interest in learning the truth about drugs and the testing system in high level sports.  I hope you all find my presentation a rather enjoyable one further in the near future.
