Movie Review: Taken 2

Taken 2 is a action thriller film directed by Olivier Megaton, starring Liam Neeson, Maggie Grace, Famke Janssen, and Rade Šerbedžija.  It is the sequel to the 2008 film Taken, and was released on October 3rd 2012. After the events in Paris in Taken, relatives whom Brian Mills (Neeson) killed while searching for his daughter, kim (grace), return to their hometown, tropojë, Albania, for the dead mens' funeral. During the ceremony, murad (šerbedžija), the employer of the men and father of marko, a victim whom bryan killed by electrocution, states that they will find bryan to avenge the deaths of their loved ones.  Brian Mills is forced once again to fight for his life and his family's against the dangerous men from Albania.  The movie is packed with a ton of action and has many suspenseful scenes.  Mills tactics in fighting the men are original and interesting to watch.  Although I loved the acting by Neeson and the movie as a whole, it was rather predictable on what was going to happen due to the similarities between the first movie.  The movie received 3.5 stars, however, I would have have voted it as 4 stars.  I would recommend this movie to anyone who loves, thrill, suspense, and action.  The audience should also naturally watch Taken before deciding to see the sequel.
